RECOVERY STARTS WITH CONNECTIONS
Treatment & Recovery
Recovery is the process in which people with Substance Use Disorder improve their health and well-being by abstaining from misuse of drugs, with the goal of reaching their full potential and living a self-directed life. The road to recovery is extremely personal and challenging for people who suffer from Opioid Use Disorder and their loved ones. Hope, support, and resilience serve as the foundations of recovery and Quinnipiack Valley Health District is dedicated to assisting our community with overcoming barriers that result in the physical, emotional and mental well-being of our residents. Remember, everyone’s story is different, and recovery should be designed on a person by person basis to address your specific needs.
