Kara Sepulveda

Biography

Kara Sepulveda has been with QVHD for the last 5 years. She received her Bachelor in Public Health at UMASS Amherst in 2015 & completed the Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counseling (DARC) program at Gateway in Spring of 2020 and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health from Southern CT State University. She joined QVHD with the goal of shattering the ongoing stigma surrounding opioid use disorder and mental health in the community. As the program coordinator for the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) grant, Kara is excited to start critical conversations and connect residents without stigma to the resources and support that they need.

Andressa Granado works as the Public Health Navigator at Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD) conducting community outreach, assisting in overdose prevention and response projects, and providing Opioid Use Disorder education.
